It’s been 7 months since leaving my “stable” job and trying to venture into making a new way of living as an entreprenuer. Over the last 7 months, I’ve learned so much about myself it’s amazing. This was a time of growth and will continue to be a struggle even though I’ve just acquired a position at a company and a salary of only $375 per week plus bonuses for bringing in business that will kick in a little later. The bonus income is what will be feeding us if the position pans out and I can do what is necessary to build the company’s business.
So why take such a risk that may not pan out and end us up in bankruptcy? Mainly it’s because of the education I will be able to gain by “directly” working with a very successful and young entrepreneur.
If you’ve been or are currently unemployed, keep looking and take this time to educate yourself on something. The internet has a ton of free resources to learn a skill that could be useful somewhere. Look on YouTube for a passion or hobby you like and see if others have found a way to capitalize on it. Build a website and ad google adsense to earn a little income on something you love talking about. There is so much out there for you, you just have to look and be creative about it.
